1. Quotations and pricing
1.1All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise.
1.2A quotation is valid for 30 days from its date. After that, prices may change without notice and the quote may need to be re-issued.
1.3Quotes are based on the materials, colours, profiles, dimensions and quantities you have specified or approved. Any change to these may change the price.
1.4Where a price is based on measurements or a material take-off you have supplied, it remains an estimate of quantity only. You are responsible for the accuracy of those measurements (see clause 3).
2. Made-to-order goods
2.1Most of our products, including flashings, cappings, gutters, custom-folded and cut-to-length items, are custom manufactured to your specifications. They are made specifically for you and cannot be re-sold to another customer.
2.2Because these goods are made to order, once your order is confirmed and production has begun they cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or refunded, except where the goods are faulty or not as ordered (see clauses 8 and 9, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law).
3. Your responsibility to check the order before paying
This is important. Please read carefully.
3.1Before you accept your quote or make payment, it is your responsibility to carefully check and confirm that every detail of the order is correct, including:
- all dimensions: girths, lengths, widths, heights and angles;
- the number of folds/bends, hems and tapers on each flashing or profile;
- quantities of each item;
- material type and gauge/thickness;
- colour(s) and which face is the coloured/finished side;
- the profile or product selected;
- whether the order is for pick-up or delivery, and the delivery address; and
- any drawings, diagrams or cut lists shown on the quote.
3.2The drawings and dimensions shown on your quote are the basis on which your goods will be manufactured. By accepting the quote and/or making payment, you confirm that you have checked these details and that they are correct.
3.3Where you have supplied measurements (for example, from a site measure or your own plans), we manufacture to those measurements. We are not responsible for goods that do not fit or are unsuitable because the measurements you supplied were incorrect, incomplete, or based on an incorrect site measure. We strongly recommend you double-check all site measurements before ordering.
3.4If you are unsure about any detail, please contact us before you accept or pay. We are happy to help confirm the order.
4. Acceptance of your order
4.1Your order is accepted when you tick to confirm these Terms and either (a) pay in full, or (b) for approved account customers, formally accept/approve the quote.
4.2We will begin manufacturing once your order is accepted in accordance with clause 5. The order shown on the quote at that time becomes the agreed specification for manufacture.
5. Payment
5.1Non-account customers must pay the quoted amount in full before goods are manufactured or released. We do not require or accept deposits; orders are settled in full prior to production.
5.2Account customers may order on the credit terms agreed with us in writing. Goods are supplied on those terms, and overdue accounts may be placed on hold and may incur interest and reasonable recovery costs.
5.3Title to (ownership of) the goods does not pass to you until payment has been received in full. Risk in the goods passes to you on collection or delivery (see clause 6).
6. Pick-up and delivery
6.1If you have selected pick-up, goods must be collected from our premises during opening hours. Please inspect your goods on collection.
6.2If you have selected delivery, delivery is to the nominated address and, unless otherwise agreed, to the kerbside/ground level only. Someone should be available to receive and check the goods. Delivery dates and times are estimates.
6.3Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the goods are collected by you (or your agent/carrier) or delivered to your nominated address.
6.4Goods not collected within a reasonable period after notification that they are ready may be subject to storage charges, and we are not responsible for deterioration of uncollected goods.
7. Lead times
7.1Any lead time, production time or completion date we give is an estimate only and is not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by supplier shortages, material availability, transport, weather, or other matters beyond our reasonable control.
8. Manufacturing tolerances, colour and materials
8.1Custom-fabricated metal products are subject to minor manufacturing tolerances in dimensions and finish. Small variations are normal and do not constitute a defect.
8.2Colours may vary slightly between production runs and material batches, and colours shown on screens or printed quotes are a guide only and may not exactly match the finished product. Where colour match across multiple items is critical, please tell us before ordering.
8.3Material brand-name colours and finishes (for example, COLORBOND® steel) are manufactured by third parties and are subject to those manufacturers’ specifications and warranties.
9. Faults, returns and warranty
9.1Please inspect your goods on collection or delivery and notify us of any fault, damage or discrepancy within 7 days.
9.2Custom made-to-order goods cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind, incorrect customer measurements, or incorrect details you have approved (see clause 3).
9.3Stock items that are unused, undamaged and in original condition may, at our discretion, be returned within 14 days and may be subject to a reasonable restocking fee. Cut-to-length and custom items are excluded.
9.4We pass on the benefit of applicable manufacturer warranties on materials. Our liability for faulty goods is set out in clause 10 and is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Liability and the Australian Consumer Law
10.1Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10.2To the extent permitted by law, and except for those non-excludable guarantees, our liability for any claim is limited, at our option, to replacing or repairing the goods, re-supplying them, or refunding the price paid for the affected goods.
10.3To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from installation, incorrect fitting, or use of the goods. We supply goods only and do not provide installation unless expressly agreed in writing. Responsibility for correct installation rests with you or your installer.
11. Privacy
We collect and handle your personal information (such as your name, contact and delivery details) only to process and fulfil your order and as required by law. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
12. General
12.1These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
12.2If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
12.3These Terms, together with your quote, form the entire agreement between us in relation to your order.
