Privacy Policy

This policy is issued by Roofing Depot, ABN 45 297 371 439, of 5/610 Pine Ridge Road, Coombabah QLD 4216, part of the Euroclad group. It covers personal information collected through roofingdepot.com.au, over the phone, by email and at our factory counter.

Our website may link to other sites, including payment and freight providers. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.

We collect only what we need to serve you. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:

• your name, business name and ABN (for trade account applications);
• contact details: email address, phone number, and billing or delivery address;
• order details: the products, flashing drawings, dimensions, materials, colours and quantities you specify, together with order notes, pickup or delivery preference and order history;
• correspondence you send us, including enquiries made through our contact and trade forms, which are sent to us from your own email application;
• technical information about your visit, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring site, collected through cookies and analytics as described below.

Flashing designs you create in the designer are saved in your browser so that your cart survives a refresh. They are transmitted to us only when you proceed to checkout.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not collect sensitive information such as health, religious or biometric data.

• to quote, manufacture, fulfil and deliver your orders, including passing delivery details to a carrier;
• to contact you about an order, for example to confirm a freight price, notify you that goods are ready, or query a drawing before it is folded;
• to assess and administer trade account applications and account terms;
• to answer your enquiries and provide customer support;
• to keep records required by tax, consumer and corporate law;
• to improve our website, product range and service, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible;
• to send you marketing about products and offers where you have subscribed or would reasonably expect it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or by contacting us.

Online orders are paid in full by card. Card payments are processed by Square, our payment provider. Your card details are entered on and handled by Square’s secure payment pages and systems. Roofing Depot does not receive or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits of the card and the card type for our records.

Square’s handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy, available on its website.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only where necessary to run the business, with:

• our staff and related entities within the Euroclad group who manufacture and dispatch your order;
• payment providers (Square) to process your payment;
• freight and courier companies, who receive the name, address and phone number needed to make a delivery;
• service providers that host our website, email, database and analytics;
• professional advisers, and government agencies or courts where the law requires it.

Some of our service providers, including hosting and analytics providers, may store or process information on servers located outside Australia, including the United States. Where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure the provider handles your information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Our website uses browser storage to keep your cart and saved designs between visits, and may use cookies and analytics tools to understand how the site is used and to measure the performance of our advertising. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, parts of the site such as the cart may not work as intended.

We store personal information in secure cloud systems with access limited to staff who need it to do their work. We use encryption in transit, access controls and regular backups. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us online.

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you and request that it be corrected if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete.
